I hate it when my friends are in some kind of personal trouble, or emotional distress, or any kind of pain, because there’s always a thousand things I want to say to at least try to help make it less awful, but I never know which thing to say and how to phrase it right so I end up not saying anything and feeling really bad about myself because I haven’t helped them as much as I should have.
